But, you may need to pay for additional items, such as one or more domain names, web hosting, website design, content creation, and more. Our system provides cost-effective options for these items from companies we have partnered with that produce effective results, but you can also choose to use items you have already obtained, or you may select from other providers beyond the ones we have curated. Finally, you may optionally choose to pay to have some of your program tasks automated in order to save yourself time and effort. But, in most instances, the additional à la carte costs along with our subscription fees will be substantially less than what you will find with most reputation management agencies.
Personal Name Program: Appropriate for an individual who has one or more negative items appearing in search engine results when their name is searched upon.
Business Name Program: Indended for Small-to-Medium Businesses (SMBs) that have one or more negative items appearing in search engine results when their name is searched upon. This can be the business name or a product name.
Personal + Business Name Combo Program: Created for situations where both a business name and a principal person’s name involved with that business have negative materials appearing in search results when their respective names are searched upon. The reputations of organizations and people who are prominently associated with the organization are often inextricably linked. When a company founder, or executive is attacked online, it is not unusual for the negative materials to impact the associated company, too, or for a reputation attacker to attempt to damage the company and the individual simultaneously. This package is also appropriate for instances where a doctor or dentist is attacked along with their clinic, or where an attorney is also attacked along with their legal firm. This package takes advantage of the unique synergies that are available for individuals closely associated with organizations in order to manage their linked reputations.
Why offer Reputation Management as self-help instead of full-service?
We have provided full-service reputation management for years, but there are three main reasons why a Do-It-Yourself reputation management program may be your best choice:
- It’s cheaper. Reputation management is expensive, and often priced completely out of reach of most who are in need of it. We hated turning away people who needed help, so this provides a realistic option that can help many more people improve and recover their online reputations. You may have felt burned by a reputation management firm that promised or “guaranteed” to fix your problem, and did not. This also gives you a chance to learn how it works and do it right. Reputation management is somewhat labor-intensive, so if you can save dollars on the highest-cost aspect of it, then you can reduce your overall expense.
- It works better. After years of work in this area, we have found that those who take a more active role in their online reputations will have greater success at recovery. Let’s face it: your reputation is pretty much the core element of your identity, so you should be more directly involved in managing how it is developed. You are more motivated to address your issue than anyone else will be.
- You may not need everything. Most individuals and businesses may already have assets that they have developed to represent themselves online, such as websites and social media accounts.
